Tis well worth it though, I was giving it some stick* last night (by my standards) and the mini-beast (only a 180A) performed admirably

My mate's SIP gave up the ghost whilst welding his roll cage so he borrowed my portamig 185.

About 45 minutes later I got a phone call and he was shouting down the phone how good it was.

Few minutes later he texted to ask if it was wrong to be getting so excited about a welder!

Nuff said!

I once lent a mates dad some ramps. I made the mistake of leaving it 6 months before asking for them to do a job on the car. He point blank denied they were mine, said id never borrowed him any. even though his son was siding with me saying they were mine. that day he locked his shed and the key was never seen again, so we couldnt even pinch them back. What a b*satard eh ?!

Good point! Spoke to him during this week and said I'd have a job in the next week or so - he said he'd lend me my welder back! cheeky git!

Not had much chance for anything the last couple of weeks - work and life getting in the way of welding!

Step daughters 18th tomorrow so a week of celebrating coming up! Might still not get much weldign done (even if I can prize it from my mates greasy mits!)
