I paid a fair chunk more then £16 a litre for the actual colour I'm spraying, but this was just half a tin I had lying around so I didn't mind wasting it!
I had thought that even though the paint is probably thicker then then panel it would colour sand....however, that's just a dinged up old bonnet I swapped for another job so I won't be colour sanding it!
Just ordered the needle packing as tightening (and loosening) did nothing to it! I also took it out and cleaned it, and can safely say, that it was thick with paint! I'll replace them and hopefully get the gun spraying spot on again, then I WILL (must) spray the paint thinner!
