Its about time Cats were controlled and treated like Dogs.......You wouldnt let your dog out every night so why is it OK to let a cat out.......they kill millions of birds for no reason other than fun......and most annoying they crap on my garden

Next time I need to empty my bowels Im seriously thinking of nipping round next door and dropping it on their lawn

It's just legacy. There is zero reason why society should be expected to look after (by that, I mean house, clear up after, provide kill items) anyone elses "pet".

Our dogs were behaving right strangely the other night, in our garden, which they can't get out of. Turns out our neighbour "really couldn't get their car in" so left it out.

If the whippets get injured by it in our garden I wonder what the situation will be then? I doubt it will be "their" cat then, but someone else's.... What if they rag it to death? I guess then the would be dangerous dogs? Killing a "domestic" pet?

It's a joke. I don't much like cats but they're just animals. Irresponsible (which not all are) cat owners are the issue.

I will video our kitten, he sits on command, never ever bites or claws. I can stroke his tummy and he doesn’t think it’s time to fight. He also uses his litter tray(igloo) and has never had a single accident.

The only reason he’s a house cat is the neighbour has a lovely big ginger Tom who destroys all the other cats and even stood at our back door hissing and belting the door to our naive little one that was excited to see him to see the threat

Cats are intelligent and independant creatures. They are not owned by anyone, they have staff to do their bidding. They also know who to trust and who not. That having been said, the love that you can get is far more than any brain dead, blindly obedient slobbering mutt. The one that recently passed used to lie in my arms like a baby and gaze up at me with total adoration. Broke my heart when she went.

I can't imagine how my life you be without the love of my animals. Yes the cats can be a PIA but on the other hand we will never have a problem with mice in the house - nor squirrels, wood pigeons, spiders, flies, rats etc. We had only been married a week, in 1980, before we had our first and since then there have been 13 cats and 9 dogs. Currently there are just 4 cats and 2 dogs but "at the peak" we had 6 cats and 3 dogs yet still have places in our hearts for more but resisted. For some reason we also get visitors - local cats seen to congregate here and sometime come into the house. We don't mind and as long as they behave then they are welcome.

Now I’ve spooked it, it is jumping up the neighbours fence making a right racket with another cat.
Mrs wakes up.
Screaming ensues about how the cats are better than me, she’d rather have the cat, I’m not to sleep until the cat is back indoors.

Fun night ahead.

Dogs, don't like them. Had one as a kid, they are extremely filthy animals. Once the dog passed away at age 14 it was incredible how much cleaner the house was. Always had cats too and they never dirtied it up the same way. And at least the cats bury their crap, the dog just left turds all over the lawn, I have many unpleasant memories of mowing over a dog turd.... I've always had bad associations with dogs, in particular their owners and what kind of people they were. Most of the time the kind that would shoot a cat for fun, scum of the earth basically. Quickly learned to associate extreme negativity with dogs due to this. Lots of hunting dogs here too, they escape and roam and are aggressive, I have kids now and won't suffer them. When I built my house someones loose dog came and chased me up a ladder, good thing I had a ladder around as I was painting it.

I have a shotgun ready for the next aggressive mutt who intrudes on our property.

Exceptions for tiny dogs, they aren't big enough to be dangerous and people who own dogs like that are usually not of the same type as described above.

Got them ready and strategically positioned to repel the cats.........had a look and cat sat beside it

It did repel hedgehogs though.....who eat the slugs that eat my plants

Spent a fortune on it, just that the cheaper flea deterrents don't work, signed up for a new course of Advantage this weekend and a few smoke bombs for around the house .... still no more after this darling !
