i wouldnt be keen on using old hardener
You reckon at circa four years old it’s probably past it’s best and thus will fail at hardening the paint?i wouldnt be keen on using old hardener
yeah i would say so , should have a use by date on it ?You reckon at circa four years old it’s probably past it’s best and thus will fail at hardening the paint?
I honestly didn't a use by date would appear on a tin of paint, lack of experience on my part. However on inspecting the tin...yeah i would say so , should have a use by date on it ?
only time i had some stay soft was when i used some that was on the turn and going a bit thick...did eventually harden though
Thanks for the tip there Steve with regards to eBay and yes, I will be mindful of the required quantity for the job and the use by dateyeah i dont know how they fail but have seen use by dates on the can
i always used it up quickly when working in a bodyshop so wasnt a concern , i would suggest you only buy when ready to use it , paint seems to last ok as long as it mixes up
also need to watch whats being sold on ebay...i guess some sellers will be getting old stock in on the cheap
