Not trying to match the doors to the counter top. White doors and hopefully a light natural colour on the counter top.

The pic above i was referring to the chamfer on the top edge it would remove all the dings and may be better with kids running around.

Sorry, I got the wrong end of the stick there.....

For the kids thing, I'd be inclined to round off the corners as that's where they're likely to injure themselves - might mean changing the profile of the edges to rounded, but sharp corners will inflict more damage.......if it's going to happen

I did the 45 in the end. The colour is totally different to what i ordered. Looks ok in the pic but in the flesh not so much. Will push on anyway

Nearly done.

Just another few coats of paint on the doors.

And if i ever get my saw back will make a few more supports for the vinyl.

Now for the bad news, The white paint is still tacky after a week and the wife has already filled the cupboard with the kids toys.

Kids' toys?!! I thought this was designed for your vinyls. You need to put your foot down with a heavy hand.

Wonder what's up with the paint?

I'm happy with 50% for the vinyl and 50% for the kids toys.

The mdf sealer and undercoat went on well. Really struggled with the top coat i got it looking nice then 2 minutes later bubbles would appear.

I'm happy with it for my first attempt, learnt a lot need to make a stand for my fobco drill now have a nice bit of counter top left over.
