Pulse Mig V Super Pulse(Double Pulse etc)

I eventually remembered to look at the settings I use with Super Pulse on the EWM Phoenix 355.

I have 3 different custom programmes set up, Job 130, 131 and 132. I use job 131 most of the time.
I don't have times set up for hot start and crater fill sections as I use the torch trigger to control the duration and they are only used when in 2T or 4T normal, I always use 4T Special.

Also meant to say I don't usually bother with the slope times either as I found I mostly prefer them to be minimal.

Thank you for settings etc, i will try som in the weekend. I just realised today when welding in superpulse with the esab u82 you have to set the ”difference” beteende the primary/secondary level. If you change wfs in primary, you will have to set the secondary also, there is no synergic thing for that

That certainly makes it more of a pain, fine I suppose for setting up for a repetitive job but for stuff like I do it would be a nightmare as I constantly change wire speeds depending on material thickness and welding position.

Hah, finally im actually starting to make some progress yes i know start and stop needs some tuning. This was actually with the parweld. Since realising ”how to” set the difference in the esab machine it is also starting to look way better. I hope in will be able to post some pictures of dpwelding on my alu-boat next weekend

Ha ha well if they did a version of the Jasic Pulse Mig then I would say pretty good from the video I saw. Unlikely they do though

I was actually considering the Jasic Pulse Mig but it couldn't handle a push-pull gun so that ruled it out but I certainly have no regrets with getting the EWM.
