yes your right,would probably win aswel but for £36 id do without the stress and strangling who ever turned up to defend yodel lol.

yes i have opened a case,no response yet...all i seem to be doing lately is openng cases on ebay
I posted that before seeing that you organised the courier, gets a bit grey in that case but eBay are generally buyer biased anyway (not as much of late mind)

This is why I personally try to stick with fairly local stuff these days, even when most of the best stuff seems to be down South. Relying on someone else for decent packaging is like tossing a coin, and adding a courier to the mix makes it worse. Pee poor when it happens. Hope you get it sorted Ross,

I refused a fiberglass porch column that turned up with damage to one corner, the back of the delivery van looked they had launched the parcels into the back from 100yds with a trebuchet, I had a right go at the muppet driver.
It turned up back at the sellers totally flat. The ******* must of driven over it with a f/lift when he got back to the depo. I complained but got nowhere.

tried and tried trust me lol they aint having none of it.spoke to head office aswel even threatened them with court see you there then replys.they dont care.item was bubble wrapped with polysterene bottom around 3" thick treble folded cardboard all around sides same poly on top its ok.if handled corrctly i wouldnt of seen a problem but i would of done different personally.
Can see why Yodel won the worst courier award again this year, narrowly beating Hermes who are totally useless too.

I've used HTS-2000 similar stuff to Durafix. Job needs to be absolutely spotless,[more than for tigging] you would need oxy-act. to get that thickness hot enough.

ooohh i dont know worth a pop suppose.i have some tigerseal? failing that find someone to tig it? good news i got my money back!!! manager phoned me as i demanded the photos were looked at by a manager...sorted thing is they use BACS never heard of it...do i need to make an account to get it back surely just refund me how i paid by paypal

i get paid by bacs of regular buisness clients. just give them your bank details and they transfer the cash . no hassle or crap with post and cheques

i got paypal for that though funny ive never heard of it before.strange they dont give a paypal option but they will take it from there lol...ill look into it.

It's the system they'll use for all payments, including wages etc. It's a common system used by companies. I have a few customers who pay that way too, like Brightspark. Simple and no phaff, just paid straight into your bank account.
Glad to hear you got good results from them in the end. Persistence does pay. They know that most people will just give up if they make the process annoying, hence saving them having to refund.

You need something like super steel epoxy - high temp/oil resistant.
It's designed to be able to fix cracks in engine blocks / radiators etc.

Like I mentioned before on here I have fixed steel breather pipes into a engine block and rocker cover years ago with this stuff and it is still holding strong.
