pump casing repair?

The types of stuff I've tried along those lines in the past, it seems decent enough. I'd personally go with the stuff which Rocketman mentioned though. With the putty, you have to force it in and won't know how well it's got in there. With the semi liquid stuff, you can let it creep into the crack, so you'll get far better bonding and sealing.

unless of course all the oil escapes and wrecks the pump, after all you wont sit watching it

right got another problem,cracked pump at home compressor at the unit .until i took it down earlier and have noticed how much bigger the new one is seller says 14cfm which is what my compressor is but this new pump im going to repair is much bigger wheel is alot bigger too??

you can stick cracks like that up, mine fell over some years ago and i stuck it back together with a loctite product as it wouldn't weld. that compressor has run for about 5 years since then and hundreds of hours without issue or leack
