Don’t get much in the scrap when this is all you take in. £22.20 which included about 10 brake discs and 3 snapped hubs.
Mainly because I run out of thinners to clean the gun. If I can pick some up local - I’ll do it tomorrow.Very nice not easy with all the obstacles, why you leaving so long before clear ?
That is too long, you will have adhesion issues. Best advice if you want it to last, is to key the basecoat and respray it, leave an hour or so and then lacquer it.Mainly because I run out of thinners to clean the gun. If I can pick some up local - I’ll do it tomorrow.
If it was the outside that was exposed and it really mattered I would do, but it’s a race car and it’s only the insideThat is too long, you will have adhesion issues. Best advice if you want it to last, is to key the basecoat and respray it, leave an hour or so and then lacquer it.
only on the car great fun racing even better when you win .just a bummer when you have a run of bad luck costs a fortune and a lot of workI don’t seem to update this thread very often, but when I do its a major update!
Unfortunately it doesn’t look quite so nice now…

I had a front brake failure whilst racing at Mallory park at the weekend and went into the wall at the hairpin.
Good news is that the cage is still straight, and it doesn’t look like any of the chassis rail or suspension pickup points have moved. So should be fairly straight forward to repair
Bad news is I’m very sore and have a couple of minor fractures but will be ok with some rest - no surgery needed.
