Todays purchase, an oil bath air filter, not original but I will try and substitute it for what I need. No name on it but it feels substantial enough for me. Very old and dirty.

This was another purchase. Nice old Mitsubishi lamp. I’ll find a mounting point for it.

Beautiful bits of mechanical kit. Pity they’re left to rot.@Dieselman 63
Typica.
Just bl;oody typical.
There you way over there, me here.
But I know where this a 6 gang mower assembly set up.
Used to be towed behind a land rover, to mow scholl playing fields.
Was retired last year.
I suspect a push mower would be geared about right for a crawlerThey're usually left outside, because of the size of them - there was a set here when we moved in, Ransomes iirc. They were retired because one of the hubs had broken, not really a biggy to make a new one, but the village chief elder decided to give them away...
Anyway, they need a certain amount of speed to work well don't they? Are you sure your machine can move them fast enough?
Check the grease in the transfer box's. it goes solid and is a pain to remove.Mower number three acquired, free. Excellent, that’s most of the expense out of the way!

All mowers are dismantled and washed, cleaned, reassembled. Interestingly these have ball bearings not bushes.Check the grease in the transfer box's. it goes solid and is a pain to remove.
If it is Tallow based grease any heat and it will stink.
A later one, cages or loose? All mowers are dismantled and washed, cleaned, reassembled. Interestingly these have ball bearings not bushes.

Me either but I will find uses . I plan on chewing my parents field up. They don’t know this yet but they will find out
It didn’t feel like that. That’s 2 very long days of work and I still haven’t got it fully stripped out. I need to get that bearing out still. It did seem to come apart remarkably easy Kim.
