Well Me bits (Finlay) arrived tday after a week of, "emm err there on the van, Emmm we not sure where they are, etc etc" So Iv started Crashing on with the job,
Iv posted this up mostly to show how things really shouldn't be done, the previous job was shoddy to say the least, A Large so called specialist (I will mention no names) charged a pricey sum of £700 for this prize work, I think much of it again boils down to bad training, On the shop floor, and probably lack of skill level to be able to tackle the job as it should,
OK first batch of pictures shows the state of the bucket, The Chalk arrows were Cracks we picked out, once cut I realized they simply pieced bits of wear edge between the holders, It doesn't even looked as if they were V prepped, simply MIG In, Job done.....If anyone knows what the Inox is doing round the edge of the adapters id be glad to know....... One of the Cut lumps will be returned with the bucket so the Management of the company can see....
The last picture Is the whole lump removed with the side "banana" bars buttered and 350 Hard faced,
More......
