Recommend me a lid for Mig <£100

In my opinion the graphics are not too bad. I do prefer a more muted style but these are far better than the flames on the Phantom XL and the other graphics you see on the cheaper offering on eBay.
Obviously that is just my opinion and lot s do like the fancy graphics.

I agree, they don't jump out at you as they are not really a image of anything.

You have to wonder sometimes why they bother? With something as functional as a welding helmet, I would rather they were left plain.

Plain surfaces are meant to have stickers/graphics/rude sayings on them-well if you are a petrol head they are.

You could run the sticker under hot tap and peel it off or is it clear coated over the top.

I have had a miller Inferno with a passive lense for the last 8 years, you cannot go wrong with the large 5" viewing area and the comfortable head gear, although I have gone through 3 head gears in this time. You can get them on eBay for about £60 plus postage they usually come from America so expect £30 postage

I have attached the screan from eBay, it's a bit cheaper than when I bought it years ago, I have used this screan nearly every day and welded tig, stick mig and the flux it is great for everything. Do note though it does not have a clear screan for grinding but that's ok the screan is big enough to accommodate safety glasses behind, also the lenses are cheap as you can just plug in the standard 4.5x5.25" lenses. A new head gear is about £20-30 but I racked up about a thousand hours before it broke about 3 years (approx), I have only just upgraded to a £550 speedglas but am questioning if it is better than my old trusty here, Iv probably just grown too accustomed to it over the years.

I have a Spaceview and love the fact that I can now clearly see what a mess I am making. I wear my glasses under it no problem.

I also have a space veiw helmet... absolute fantastic bit of kit. Unfortunately i can now see how bad the welds actually are... haha. Love the grind switch on the outside.

I bought a speedglas a few years ago but for some strange reason I still grab my old school cheapy every time I weld. Its bit like wearing a comfy old pair of workboots vs a new pair that are going eat your feet.
