Just bought a Spaceview from Tom.
My solar one just won't work in the Carport what with the miserable light conditions we are experiencing.
Now with battery power I don't have to worry about getting the flood light/s to shine onto the solar cells.

Been using the new lid for a couple of days now, and what a difference.
Not only is it as light as a feather, it has ample adjustment to play with so easy to get it to fit comfortably.
Needs bedding in to get the 'nod' to work.
I do need to get it sittings on the bonce correctly, as it will make contact with one of the sides of my specs otherwise.
MIG welding has improved, but TIG has gone into reverse so will need to spend time practising.
Now I know what is meant about MIG welds being hard - BH they certainly are.
Definitely need to now concentrate on improving my TIG welding as I need a weld that is far more conducive to dolly work.

Is this the same as the space view? It looks physically very similar but without the graphics.

Shape of the helmet is quite different. They're similar spec but not the same helmet.

How heavy is the spaceview? My Lincoln also has a big screen and is noticeably heavier than my old parweld which I put down partly to the big screen. So not the best after a long day or in awkward positions but optics of the Lincoln are amazing.

Purchased the GYS Spaceview.
Loving the helmet. Great lid at a great price from @Tom Orrow L .
FYI, Tom has an offer on lenses for these a the moment so worth dropping him a line if you need some.
