Apparently it’s co efficient of productivity. Who knew. A bar heater had CoP of one. At best. So 1kw in = 1kw out. A air source heat pump is 4 so 1kw of electricity produces 4kw of heat.
That’s how I interpreted it anyway. Every day is a school day!
