I bought a slimmer set of ear defenders, Jake Pike, £12, Do clays, so useful having compact spare set.
Specs, mask, ear defenders all fit under the mask, and it works but could do with 1/2 inch less stick out on the defenders either side to make the mask headband really snug.
But I reckon if passive ear defenders are that slim (1"), they probably won't be blocking much.
Maybe I've got an odd shaped head but I got my standard ear defenders under my Honeywell mask with no trouble
I just put the head band round the back of my head.

Wouldnt a full face mask be more comfortable than mask plus full visor? does it give better protection? I find half masks put a lot of pressure around the nose.
Ive never bothered with ear muffs but I dont do a lot of grinding.
Did notice a slight steaming up issue with my Bionic the other day with the standard visor insert. Tbh it's still so damn clear generally to look out of I forget I'm wearing it (or not).
I'm still swapping between the new IFL mask when welding then the Bionic for grinding. My welding gloves are too thick to turn the mask knob to grind.
Then there's my glasses. I have to take them off to weld but put them on to see what I'm grinding. I tend to take them off and cover them with the Bionic shield when welding.
Well it's a thumbs up for the Bionic and a sober lesson why I'll never go back to "goggles".
I was taking the burrs off of some small 1.5/2mm stainless offcuts, held in my gloved left hand. Done it a thousand times before. Next thing and the piece got snatched out of my hand and hit the black band at the base of the visor. With normal goggles on I reckon that could have been my throat!
