Show us your anvil(s)

So its been suggested a new thread show us your anvil to follow along the lines of show us your vice, so here we are, not a great start as I took pics of mine, I can see them on the phone , down loaded about 20 others but for some reason the anvil is not down loading...urghh! so will add pics later when I get past the techy bit.
Anyways I know absolutely nothing about anvils apart from seriously heavy, and they are usefull tools , so anyone in the know heres the place for you to shine.

Mine that a client gave me. Only used it once since I got it and then had to move it into the garage away from travelling tarmac layers who kept knocking on the door to "buy it"

Yep, some neighbours were moving and it had been in their house when they bought it many decades ago. I'd offered to buy it from them years ago which they declined. Fast forward to a month ago and they had remembered I'd been interested in it, they decided they didn't want to take it with them and asked if I wanted if for free. The smile was stuck on my face for a long time!

I must get around to giving it a clean up

I have a couple of others but this is my daily drive..

Bottom half is aluminium, probably about the same size as a 65kg but half the weight.
It does not have the ring of a traditional anvil which is actually fantastic if you have to use it all day everyday..

Are there any anvil experts on here? I’ve not looked closely at mine before this thread appeared, but it appears to be a Peter Wright, though not seen one with a brass disc before - any ideas?

I've not seen the brass disc before, but otherwise it looks very much standard. Hardy hole and pritchel hole. We stuffed big lump of suet into the hole under the beak and jabbed the pritchel into it before knocking out nail holes in horseshoes. It was spectacular, always caught fire and we never had hair on our hands!
