Kinda stops you from overhanging the edge of the bench so much which means when you swivel it with something long in the jaw it'll hit the bench sooner though...
it’s dark and it’s in the shed
You've not got elektrickery out there? Shame on you!

Even with the hamster wheel at full speed (red-hot bearings) I'm not up to 2 candle-power yet. Can't afford a Tesla roof and PowerWall - have to get out the half used lead-acid and buy a solar panel.
(Actually I have the panel and this is what I'm doing for my sheds.)
That's another round tuit I haven't found yet:yes they are good (have one) - it's difficult to make a good ball and socket joint - matching sphere and hollow (eg plenty of cheap ball tops for camera tripod, but a good one will cost you).
although this is size A which suggests they were going to make other sizes, I think it's the only size they made (?)
I don't, Tom Lipton calls it that which doesn't make any sense to me as it looks bloody good.message to maker - call that a dogmeat ball swivel vice - how about this?

The size A is the only size I've seen mentioned in an old catalogue.
[QUOTE="Migmac, post: 1686592, member: 24627"………………... Is the pin from the back of the vice meant to be bent? ………..
