I did one of those once. Used to use an 8 daily. Great vice, the 8A is quite big eh!

Finally finished the last vices . I really had to force myself
When I bought the steel for the screws it was horrendous, well over £500 per m
Had quote last week just to annoy myself and it’s back down to £120 per m
My neighbour who helped me assemble them posing under duress

Can anybody identify or tell me more about what this is? (Yes - I know it is a vice.... )
I saw it advertised (as you do
) - it was just down the road - and now its sitting in my workshop. 
Not sure why I bought it tbh - other than I thought it old and very well made - will give it some love and attention and then find a new home for it.

I acquired one awhile back, refurbished it and find it to be a more practical and useful vice than others I have.
