I'm getting lathe envy when I see M Ks, my M300 looks very scruffy in comparison.

only good for small things but is just the right size for my workshop and what i need to do

My lathes, Churchill Computurn on the trailer and then in the workshop along with the Triumph and Student, no longer have the Student as I needed room when I got the Chiron FZ12S.

It is a business or supposed to be, never make any money as I spend it on new stuff for the workshop
Work mainly fitting out and repairing fishing boats. Pic below of one getting fitted out at the back of my workshop a few years back, well probably 10 , no longer any room to do them there though as that is where my container is that I have the plasma in.

Here`s another Myford
I have an Invertek drive which controls the motor.
The motor is a 3 phase 0.75 kW 2880 rpm I know that’s over spec but being able to control the motors low speed is really useful.
These additions to the lathe where made through barter, as the cost would be more than the value of the lathe.
This Myford lathe is about 60 yrs old and I think with the new controllers it’s a lot friendlier to use.

I thought you might like a pic or two of my Holbrook H=15 arriving. All in it has taken nearly 2 years to find it and get it home. A big thank you to Mark and Charlie from Hiab4hire .co.uk 07775361889 for the pickup and delivery. At nearly 3 tons, a couple of mates and a trailer aint gonna do it! A lot of work ahead. It joins two Weiler lathes I picked up by accident (Matador&LZ330) pics if interested?

to be sold in the near future to feed my Holbrook habit!!! lol. Enjoy the pics, comments, good or bad always welcome.

no not yet but I've been looking into it

I've got to be honest the noise doesn't bother me that much and while it works have been quite happy to use it.
but one day if i have the time i think i will give it a go
