Sprayed 2k acrylic primer came out textured

Yes its very thick. When i sprayed it last week it took me a very long time to sand through it and thats using 320. So will i be ok blocking it flat and spraying base coat/clear coat.
Also will it be a problem to feathering the primer into the other half of the bonnet where there isnt any primer? Would you spray guide coat across the primed and non primed side and keep sanding till the guide coat disappears?

Yes should be fine to feather out, yes guide coat it and block back until nice and smooth base coat needs to been done with 800 really

Ive blocked it today with 400 wet and its come out really good so far. No pinholes and sanded the guide coat out flat. Should i spray more guide coat and go straight to 800 wet or should i go 600 then 800? Also will the primer on the bonnet be ok outside for few weeks until i basecoat and clearcoat it? Or should i cover it up with sheets?

You don't really want to be leaving it outside.
If you've got it blocked down and all the guide coat has been flatted off you don't need to guide coat it again.A quick flatting with 600s to remove the 400 scratch marks is all you need.
I've never gone finer than that and I don't understand the need.Maybe I've been doing it wrong for 30 years

1/4 litre would do that as you be adding 250ml thinner. (500ml base coat in total)

What about blending the new paint into the wings?

If your painting bonnet and front bumper, then you want to spray the wings too as you'll never get the colour match.... You might end up spraying the doors too

I'm in Stoke mate so i don't know suppliers in those areas.
You'll definitely need 500ml basecoat as a minimum but delta9 is correct about blending the wings for colour matching.
However that's another whole kettle of fish for a novice I doubt you'll want to get into.....but basically you flat the wings with grey scuff pads (I do it wet),then feather the basecoat progressively out with each coat but keeping well away from the edge by the doors.Then clearcoat the entire wings.
Have a look on youtube for some guidance.
It does take practice to get right

Everyone has there own ways, I’ve only been doing 20 odd years, 600 is ok but I find it can sometime leave sanding marks find you get a better finish with 800 each to there own though

I meant 500ml of paint so 1 litre in total when it's thinned down.
I do go to uttoxeter and stoke area on my travels, where do you go in stoke?

Last job i did was paint a wing in metallic silver which ive been told is the most difficult colour to paint and i didn't bother blowing into the front door but it come out exactly the same colour and shade as the door. Maybe i got lucky.
