All failed. As said the flaring tool was so far out of concentric it necked the inside of the brake pipe - one I made actually failed at the union.
The most dissapointing failure is the underbonnet long led light, I actually thought this was a good piece of kit, until it too failed.
Add to these a pricey battery charger, 3 tonne jack, 12v led light. I dunno, have I got to search out the failed Sealey stuff to satisfy you?

Question: How many failures does it take to come to the conclusion that Seeley stuff is rubbish.
2 weeks ago I bought ,on recommendations on this forum , a Seeley drill sharpener thing. Either it is 'not very good' or I've not got the hang of it as I'm not impressed with the finish .

Apparently you now have to waste your time taking it back, and because they are good people they will give you another. Whether this is any better is open for conjecture...

I've got a glass hard Sealey torx driver set somewhere bought for seatbelts, first use OK bolt not too tight, on second use bang it just shattered. Great kit it is not and why would I want a replacement?

not just seeley sharpeners the majority of makes arent up to much unless you spend big money

Sealey is ok ish for garage equipment, when it comes to hand tools I dont think I would be expecting much unless its the Siegen range.

The strange thing is that it actually causes drills to make 2 diameters . Not the 5 sided ones and the finish is as rough as a Badgers *********.

Worst thing about Sealey is it’s the same generic Chinese tat sold elsewhere, but Sealey stick their badge on it and charge twice as much.

but they warranty it too ,,, so what price is a warranty , maybe thats the actual question to ask yourself.

It's worthless when what they replace your broken stuff with is another one of the same **** parts.
Sealey has been terrible for the past 20 years. I avoid all their stuff. Fell for buying a brake fluid spraying in an emergency the other month - none of the seals stood up to the solvent, it was leaking and knackered in 2 weeks. I took it back they give me another one that does the same. What use is that.

Thay thing is a bomb waiting to happen and in no way compatible to a sealey draper compressor tank here.

What model was the battery charger?

I recently purchased a Telwin Autotronic 25 which was not at all cheap. The battery terminals don't even fit on standard car battery posts. Sealey rebrand a lot of Telwin products, some of their chargers are made by Telwin.

I bought 2 chassis trolleys, one Sealey and the other was Chinese.

Apart from the sticker on the box they are Identical..

Saying that both are up to the job.

Their Drill Sharpener and brake pressure bleader are ok, perfectly usable.

Had mine a few years, still working fine, I don't do small drill bits with it only 4mm upwards

I did have an issue with the drills bits not sitting right in the holder but that was me not being careful enough

The finish on the sharpened drill always looks a bit rough but they still cut just fine
