About 200 hrs , quite a bit of fab , wire pipe and paint , easy when you say it fast

Started to strip an engine to go for machining, 11 studs came out....1 didn't , I tried all my tricks , no chance it will have to be drilled out.

This isn't an F1 but a budget formula running a tuned reliant engine, it's good fun and very close racing

yep once they are cranked up they go like hot sn...t close isn't the word if you like to be competitive

I think that's the only meeting in the season I missed, I KO' D my self at skeg the meeting before and my car way in a million bits

Our effort 1967 ish, state of the art then if a little lacking in safety and sophistication, bed type angle iron roll cage, you can just see the bolted join at the bottom of the rh front upright, but we were super cool back then...Managed to get to red top in the end!

Cool I must dig out my Spedeworth international license from 1980`s think I even had some hair back then, many a good weekend at Ipswich Stadium........
