Started to alter some hubs and axles as spares , the jaws on the big chuck won't close small enough to go inside the axle tube so needs must

I bored a 84mm hole in some 50mm thick plates and pushed the axle tubes out of center.(after die grinding the plug welds out with a carbide burr )

You can get generic pedal boxes but nothing really suitable for this application, plus a 3 cylinder tilton pedal box is a bit spendy so I make my own.

That's sort of what I am getting at.
My son is desperately hoping his younger son wants to race.
The older one just likes video games but not ones with cars in.

I was hoping that whatever he ends up doing, I can find a product or service not available ( easily) commercially to be able to sell to go towards entry fees and running costs.
In RC I used to be able to resize worn engine sleeves as most did not have the tools or knowhow. It also helped having the quickest engines on the track. Which was/is subjective because by winning it automatically showed it was quick.

Started to make the link bars, cut to length, swaged to make the id correct for tapping, cleaned up and tapped 3/4 unf right hand one side and left hand the other.

Finished off the link bars ready for anodizing and repaired a couple of cracks in the bell housing.

13 with the drag link and track rod ,I also made one or two spares while I was at it.
