There is a tolerance on break pressure, more important is they are all the same. I have never had to reshim injectors after fitting new nozzles.

Normally debris/swarf from a pump breaking down or crud getting through the filters.Left rolling about on a bench with no caps fitted doesnt help, if you have a pop tester give them a good hammering on that, that can sometimes flush them out.

The mystery is solved. When i compared the injectors that didnt work to the old injectors it was obvious something was wrong.
The gap between the 2 halves was non existent on the injectors that didnt work. Stripping down and a spacer is missing. They would never work.
The nozzles look new so between the 2 I may as well try and make a good set as nothing to loose.
