the thing that the people in charge don't realise is that gun crime is generally committed by people who don't have a cert. which means they are still going to get hold of their guns with or without a ban. all the ban has done is stop target shooters being able to use pistols, made it a lot harder for people to get a semi auto .45 for humane dispatch and **** every handgun owner off at the fact that through no fault of their own they are now no longer allowed handguns

there was a guy on my newest shoot had a .17hmr for the rabbits and foxes, but he felt the foxes were often out of range for a humane shot so he put in for a .223 and was denied on the gounds that that calibre was deemed unethical by the local mp's...he took legal advice shortly after and in the end was granted, but even so, how can a calibre, or even a type of gun be unethical, surely it all comes down to the person holding it.

the FEO that came out to do my renewal a few weeks ago came out with a good little line that would be well remembered by the politicians,

I prefer the 2 bricks method of castrating lying politicians as it doesn't hurt a bit - unless you get a thumb between them.
