Well that made my ears ring a bit.
Top tip: make sure the tyre is properly on the rim on both sides before giving it some beans with the inflator...
Looks like I need a new inner tube, there aren't any patches in the kit big enough for that one.

When we were kids we liked doing skids which in turn wore big holes in the tyres, being poor dad used to cut strips of old carpet and put them inside the tyres to cover the hole!View attachment 416400

Applying Super glue to an inflated tube hole, was only 7, seemed like a good idea, stoke Mandeville eye hospital though otherwise... Cut the top and bottom off and down the vertical joint ,they flatten to some nice copper sheet . It's what i did with the last cylinder I had just scrapped the coil well most of it .Wasted all afternoon cutting the top off a leaking copper water cylinder , I assumed it was hard soldered and would be an easy fix, turned out to be silver soldered probably induction brazed and i had to get the oxy propane on it to get the joint separated, it took so much heat to get apart that the joint is never going to solder again.
Straight in the copper scrap bin
This is exactly how I made the copper top for my bar, folded it over some kitchen worktopCut the top and bottom off and down the vertical joint ,they flatten to some nice copper sheet . It's what i did with the last cylinder I had just scrapped the coil well most of it .
