They do log into it remotely on request to diagnose faults, but on this occasion it doesn't get as far as the OS, so they can't. It's a combined pellet and log burner and the controller also covers the heat stores, mixing valves, pumps and any solar thermal input so quite a complex box of tricks. I guess it makes sense to use ubiquitous libraries for thus, hence the use of Linux.That's a new one on me - my Dad had a pellet stove installed in his last place, but the controller looked like some dead simple 1980s design. Is this so it can be controlled over the network?
