It feels good but I will give it a bit more testing and if I still like it I will order up some 2" bar and make a couple of one piece ones up.
Who guessed screwdriver rack?I lashed up a fixture to drill a ring of angled, convergent holes.

Worked a treat, I cut the disc out a month ago but couldn't figure out how to drill the holes until now. I'll reveal what it's for once I've machined the rest of it.
What's wrong with a chunk of butchered wood? Nice work thoughWho guessed screwdriver rack?

There's a small bearing under the disc to let it spin, it's a bit free spinning and bit wobbly though, I might remake the bearing holder to fit two bearings with some preload, or maybe I'll just pry the shield off and pack it with really thick grease. The holes in the disc are all 3mm, unfortunately half the screwdrivers have 2.5 or 2mm blades so some of them are a bit loose in the rack, and one of the 3mm ones is really tight for some reason. Hopefully it doesn't bother me because I can't think of a simples solution.
I don't do wood. What's wrong with a chunk of butchered wood? Nice work though
Rotary table and a sine plate would do the jobI lashed up a fixture to drill a ring of angled, convergent holes.

It doesn't seem that complicated once you read about it enough, watch a couple of vids and have a playBeen there, asked a question or two the said to ***** with that
Not complicated really but a hassle and you need a bit of space for it. I don't like hassle and I don't have spaceIt doesn't seem that complicated once you read about it enough, watch a couple of vids and have a play
Trouble with those dregs is that it will now be seen as a challenge. Not my finest work but with the weekend on top of us it was a fast_a_ you_like job. The last couple of months of a weekend the local lost souls society have gathered at the playing field where the scout hut is located, and once in a while someone has seen fit to kick the soil pipe to smithereens so I was asked if I could "make something to go around it" and here it is, once again the Fincords made me look good, I am not with vertical welding but it passed muster and it is now ready for the weekend onslaught, pic of my pal Doug grinding any sharp edges off in case the little Dahlings hurt themselves:

I fitted it around the Soil pipe and welded the end on, It is not my finest work but I fully expect to be replacing it within six months.
Surely not if it's done "artistically"You get banned when you do
Good of you to own up.I doubt it, after all the sh-eye-t that is posted
