He's been wanting porridge a lot recently so taught him how to make it himself.
This morning he decided to make it tasty by adding salt pepper and extra hot chilli sauce.
He might have enjoyed it but my 4yo didn't think so when he got a bowl. Neither did his gag reflex
I found it nigh on imposible until I found out that you dissolve the copper into the molten zinc and NOT t'other way round. I use borax for everything. But not as Bath Salts.Brass is a funny one to cast.
I have had mixed success with it.
The best was when I used a green willow stick. Then cleaned the dross off, before pouring.
For vacuum jackets? Used a lot in cryo.Boat load of jacketed pipework tacked up over the last few days.
All 316 in and out, with ILC unions.

Got it anodised and also stripped and re-anodised the foot brake pedal. Still have to engrave the peg but hopefully I will get a chance to do that today.
Also made up some stainless pins for the pegs.
