Ha, ha, ha.
Multiply that by five. The woman's done my head in, hassling me.
I was referred the job, she went to sculptural cast iron company who charge £90 an hour, they said 18 month waiting list, she went to my mate turner miller. He wasn't interested, sent her to me, I wasn't interested.
Here's my quote.
I'f she wants;
10 @ 17 euros a piece 170 euros. Profit 155
20 @ 15 euros a piece 300 euros. Profit 250
30 @ 13 euros a piece 390 euros. Profit 315
I have other things to do, don't want the job, woman introduced herself as ex head of a private girls school, two classic Morgans, chateau, bitch...
Hassles me weekly.
Don't want to work for her.

Previous place of work we had a customer like that - wanted a turntable in his drive, asked our boss at their golf-club . . . he declined but suggested a design place . . . who took his money to design it, and suggested us to make it . . . we costed it, added a really decent wedge, then doubled it all as we didn't want it . . . in reply he said "who do I make the cheque payable to . . " Bug ger!Sod's law, she'll accept those prices, & keep coming back to you.
If its really nylon used as the slider pads, it may suffer after a few wet days the same as users of blue pills do when they take too many . . .Quite a few I would imagine if it is 10m long.

And, before anyone points it out, I know a blackie's legs aren't yellow but I wasn't going to buy another tin of paint in the correct colour....
I've been using it on cranes for almost 20 years with no problems , The boom sections have got plenty of clearance between the two front pads for it to be a non issue imo.Be careful - still swells - then its like someone put the brakes on.
Sufficient clearance is the thing.I've been using it on cranes for almost 20 years with no problems , The boom sections have got plenty of clearance between the two front pads for it to be a non issue imo.
Only possible with a fiery helmet....Glue some channel
I've done similar when the dog's lead acted as a bolass and I crashed onto the kennel roof. It's pretty painful.Sunday, the following day, I finished the sliding line support; and then a short while later fell backwards off of my A-framed ladder set up when one of the legs sunk into the grass, and ended up braking several ribs when I landed on the corner of a random breeze block I hadn't cleared away from the area. So, now I'll be having a few weeks of leisure time to chill out and keep track of what's happening on the forum.
