Made a jig to weld these basket centre pickets up, got about 70 to do.
It holds them at 45° so you can get at 2 sides easily.
One panel done nearly.

Not made but repaired. two coal bunkers and the back of a cab for an andrew barclay 040 steam locomotive,

the bottom of the cab steel was rotten along with the right hand vertical angle base and the longditudinal angle, new angle was cut and drilled for the base and a repair section welded in for the right hand vertical.
Do i see a 7 1/4 inch HST power car. Or maybe bigger than that?

that would be ? I had some of the brown block and tried that

I finally organised my battery chargers, I'm sick of them taking up a corner of my workbench. Makita and Snap On can't be bothered to provide fixing points, so they're tightly strapped down with some reinforced PVC banding stuff.
Doesn't look like much, but between rewiring that non-rewirable extension lead, moving the D bit grinder, moving the inverter and making sure nothing hits the garage door or the lathe belt cover, it took all morning.

Some holes in some cast iron pulleys. Bored out on my lathe, one to 24mm for the motor other to 40mm for the lathe spindle. Just in prep for my 3 phase vfd conversion. Haven't worked out how to do the keyways yet.

I did mine by broaching in the lathe using a HSS bit and winding the saddle in and out.
