Well, it took me a sizeable chunk of last weekend to finish the knife off, what with grinding quite a bit more off to get the bevel in place, giving it a dunk in coffee to bring the colour out again where it had been ground off, then making, shaping and fitting the handle. Finally it had four coats of Mike's Magic Mix on the handle. We've just got back from a break away, during which I had two days (the second of which was over 11 hours long!) at a blacksmith's forge making a knife. It's still got a lot of work to do...

After a lot of that sort of thing, it ended up looking like this:

I like thatNot today but today was the first day I went and saw it in situ.
Guy who’s got a blasting outfit here wanted a man making for his gate post. The body is an old clemco pot
I made the rest bar the nozzle and he’s blasted it.

CheersI like that
Wish I’d bought some of that nonsense
I had to wait for the three contractors to come together on the same day to work together. Concrete paver, concrete delivery and concrete polisher (helicopter grouting). The grout was a 70-year-old man who started work at 11 am and finished by spotlight at 6 pm. Gotta go and water the floor twice today. Rubbed with a special mixture of quartz sand.Evening came, the last cast-iron hatch was adjusted to the laser level. The height of the floor will rise by at least 18 cm. Where the lathe and milling machines stand, the concrete thickness will be 30 cm + dia12 mm rebar cage in 30 cm increments, in two layers. I will order concrete with PP fiber reinforcement. As a result, there will be a warm workshop of 42 m2.

where did you source the connector ?I assembled a bag of terminals on to some 20 core wire -

Managed to insert them into the connector housing -

And fully assembly the connector-

This was something that I had previously failed to do, as the only 20 core cable I could get was just too big to fit in the connector housing, so has been sitting being ignored.
However assorted cables happened to pop-up on an Aliexpress ad, and a bit searching revealed 20-core wire the perfect size to fit the connector.
So now I just need to decide what to fit to the opposite end of the cable, and I should have a nice little benchtop engraver.

And best of all you didn't forget to put the back cap on before you started pinning, I'm sure everyone's done it.I assembled a bag of terminals on to some 20 core wire -

There may have been a ga....er..YouTube video or two watched during the process. You must have some patience.
Thankfully nothing was attached to the opposite end of the cable, as I couldn't remember what got assembled from what sideAnd best of all you didn't forget to put the back cap on before you started pinning, I'm sure everyone's done it.
Engineer PA-09@m_c looks neat what crimper did you use? I hate trying to do those small pins.
