where's the pirate flag ?.............
I'm interested to know why? What happened that you found yourself having to plaster the upper rear and sides of a tiled shower area complete with an installed shower door?By no means my nicest work,
800*800 shower working from outside of it I can only just reach the far corners. It's a stretch

I'm between what's quicker, little dab of filler Vs near kill myself to reach the edge.
Ive done enough to know what will paint and what won't.

Looks good though - well done !A whole day overtime on this one. 6 days on the tiling.
Odd size tiles that don't divide well.
Extremely brittle. Won't dry cut so every cut on the bridge saw.
Only have to look at them for them to chip. Even pulling out a tight spacers did it for them.
And the plasterer obviously didn't have a level straightedge or square just to make a difficult job harder.
Only 2 full tiles. Everything else is cuts

Good grief,@mtt.tr probably best he didn't do the ceiling tbh.
Here's some choice bits.
Last pic had to work top down. Huge vertical belly in the wall.

He said 3 to 4 days and was done in two. Left all his floor protection down covered in mud for me to clean up too. Be having a word with the money man. Not the first time I've struggled with his ****eGood grief,
This is what happens when people stop using Darbys and claim they can plaster by eye

Just priced up a media wall for the money man. Told him I've specced for MDF as the plasterer is crap and it needs tight tolerances.
Money's very good. Extra work is billed and paid without dispute and domestic work seems to be on the decline with people's money woes.I don't miss it at all.
I miss timber framing but not this nonsense and carryon
fancy coming to do mine I've had a new kitchen lying in the spare room for 4 monthsA whole day overtime on this one. 6 days on the tiling.
