good job the blade wasn't sharp , we'd been cutting fireline and sound block boards so the blade was hammered . It took a nano second and there was plenty of claret , No hospital so I'm not in @doubleboost s club yet

There's the small issue that we couldn't be much further apart (East-West) if we tried! You're in Kent, & if I was 30 miles further West I'd be in the Irish Sea

Still have to bore/tap for the M5 dog point that will retain the bolts and also make the clamp plates, once that is done I will anodise everything.
I read that and the first thought that came into my head was "Surely you can't strip a horse for parts and flog them on. There's no way that can be allowed",the customer sells a few horses and breaks them,
Well, I finished it today, but started it a while back. (Apologies - no metal or welding, but the fretboard, mother of pearl inlays, and bridge were made on my CNC.)

(Rosewood back and sides, mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard & European spruce soundboard. The body finish is French polished shellac, the neck is Tru OIl. Made to the 'OM' plans from here.)
