My good friend predictive text!
I suppose a turfor is a tow jack
A Tirfor might be a tow jack, a turfor sounds like someone who lays grass

A toe jack is for lifting big heavy things from the deck albeit machines or whatever , hydraulic or mechanical. Most mechanical ones you bump into are in fact for railway track.nice work indeed,

but I did have a spare Honda engine.
Power to weight is pretty good, but it doesnt have a lot of traction...What's the 0-60 time for that saw?
Crack right through this fork/shock. Replacements not available. The bikes themselves are apparently very rare over here.
Bevelled out with the Pferd ALU burrs.
Welded with 5356.
Nice job
Took some force to over tighten those pinch bolts to crack there.
(Mind, we were sent a pair of MTB forks for warranty. The triple clamp pinch bolts had been so over tightened the bolts had pulled through the aluminium clamp. It took over 120lbs/ft to replicate the same damage... The customer claimed had only used a standard length 6mm Allen key)
so I'm not surprised.
I don’t think it will have the guts tbh mate. Most hand grinders are 700-900WToday I may have made a mistake.
Keen to try to catch up with half done projects , I bought this motor on the 'Bay [1/4hp, 240V] new & unused for £24 to use on the bench linisher I'm planning, and for which I have most of the bits.
I had 2 x motors already, one from an old tumble dryer + one from an old vacuum but not knowing their wattage, thought this might be more the thing - although the 2 do work.
Those who know about such things will spot it's only 250W, so will it be beefy enough to run the linisher or be too easy to stall?
Short vid of a part of the machining, running low on battery so had to cut it short.

I don't know how you could easily check the output, you could roughly measure the input with a clamp meter but that would not take into account the efficiency.Aye, I suspected as much My old 6" bench grinder is 350W iirc, can't remember offhand what the 8" one I replaced it with is rated at. At least the new one is shiny.....
How would I check the output of the other 2 motors I have, if at all possible?
When the Cat is flying along at 15-20Knots into a force 8 you need something solidNice brackets Hood, look like they'd hold a CRT screen let alone a modern one
