Just what I was going to ask. I know it wasn’t a hacksaw, because John did a bit of that in Sunday’s video and didn’t seem to enjoy it too much! How did you cut it length ways?

I bet it soaked up a bit of heat soldering the two halves together.
A friend asked me to make some small handrails for his steps so I made a start today by cutting some 5mm 5083 Aluminium.

A view of the plasma doing its thing. The view is through the Optrel Crystal but I still can't get a true to life view, the camera seems to auto adjust no matter what I do and it doesn't come out anywhere as near as clear as you can see with the eye.
Hopefully I will get a chance this week to bend the tube and weld things together and then get it into the powder coaters.
I am well impressed with the Jasic. Will be much better if I ever get a chance to get the new plasma table finished as the rails on this ones Y axis are cracking away good style Not sure when that will happen though as I have a boat to finish fitting out and another two boats want roller systems and then near the end of the year is another new Cheetah to fit out and have loads of smaller 2-3 day jobs to do in between.Quality of your cuts rival some top end machines

Aye, today has been one of these days, trying to get on with the bigger jobs and get dozens of people in with urgent smaller jobs, they then stand and blether (yap) for an hour after I have their job doneHaha, i know the feeling.
Being self employed life of luxury haha

It doesn't work and believe me the abuse I give one or two of them is quite severe. If you weren't such a nice guy they'd soon be off! Just point to the "Talking is good but please save it for later when I'm not so busy" notice.
