View attachment 251383 View attachment 251384 View attachment 251385 Remember the pergoda,well some copper sheets arrived,quarter hard,so props soft,and the first of 16 sheets placed,I’ve cut slits in the sheets to help form the concave profiles,especially as the radius increases higher up,4 pop rivets used on the first sheet,some slots were used as tags,second photo shows me pulling them around with tongs to keep a tight wrap gripping the framework.Only the last closing sheet will have visible rivets.

Between a long ish walk with the dog and family, and the after tea football chucking contest with the kids, I used the lathe.

Turned by hand as I didn’t think I could get it to go slow enough to keep the windings neat enough. 245 turns on the secondary winding, and an extra 10 windings just in case. The 245 turns give 173v, so should give 413v between phases, which is close enough in my book
