Brilliant, great ideas, anything which makes stuff easier to find is a winner in my books.I've been lurking around the forum for a while now, reading the posts. There has been some great stuff posted, and while I'm not in the same league as many of you, I thought it was about time for me to add some of the things I have made.
So, here is my first contribution. My labeling system. I print a word document, cut out the labels, and use packaging tape to fix them to tubs.

They look tidy but wait till they go brittle in about 10 months from oxidization of the plastic when things start cooling down from the forth coming summer .
I'd like to say "oh yes, good job there Matt" but what is it? Solar battery charger and inverter setup?Finished this job, finally the bits arrived.View attachment 273914View attachment 273915
Ooh, yeah, two inverters, one runs a diesel central heating system, the other the fridge, a 12 v charger for the engine battery, a 24v charger, for the batts running the inverters.I'd like to say "oh yes, good job there Matt" but what is it? Solar battery charger and inverter setup?
The solar thing is correct, more of a token gesture.I'd like to say "oh yes, good job there Matt" but what is it? Solar battery charger and inverter setup?
I've thought about this. It's the cost that's putting me off. Do I spend money on a label maker, or more tools?you really, really need a wee label printer

Memory loss is Gods way of keeping you fit.Brilliant, great ideas, anything which makes stuff easier to find is a winner in my books.
I hate knowing I have what I need, wandering round the workshop three times, and eventually finding it where I left it, somewhere stupid.
Looks like £40 well spent, but yeah, tell yourself it's a tool, a tool labelling organisational tool, they do qwerty ones now. I'm missing your renovation posts , but admittedly it's cold.I've thought about this. It's the cost that's putting me off. Do I spend money on a label maker, or more tools?
I'm very tempted by your angle grinder holders. Just need a wall to attach them to. Nice stuff, well priced.A nice order for 36 of these triangles from 10mm thick steel.
I’ve managed to get 8 out of an offcut and picked up a 2x1 sheet that I’ll need about 1250 of to get another 32 from. This way I’ve got 4 spare to dial in the settings for hardfacing.

It’s cheaper to buy a new label printer that comes with a ribbon sometimes!!It's not the cost of the printer, it is the cost of the label ribbons
Yeah, I saw that too, and liked it.Did I post this the other week? I can’t remember. Anyway a simple air tool rack.
(This is for PCL fittings, XR/Rectus fittings coming soon).
I’m going to make some small adjustments to the CAD tomorrow and knock a batch out if anyone is interested.

They're not that expensive, set of 5 works out at a fiver each, they do last well, I just borrow it from work (ahem).....It's not the cost of the printer, it is the cost of the label ribbons
