Not me that made today but the skipper just sent me a pic of the roller I made last week. He has bolted it through the wheelhouse temporarily until I can get it welded.

Nylon, harder wearing than acetal.

A little job for a friend making some stainless plates to fill in the recesses and cover the exposed wiring on a fancy billet interior door handle for a Defender.

How do you get a decent finish on Nylon , I seem get a cylinder wrapped in vermicelli instead of a nice smooth finish .

Got on a good way with this alloy platform last night. Still getting to grips with the S3 and the crater fill settings, but I love it already. Really looking forward to using it for stitching all the gussets in.

I can't bring myself to use 4T for short stitches... something to do with the way I hold a mig gun, as i move my finger slips off the trigger and I sometimes can't stop it in time Just lack of practice. I use 4T for 6"+ seams but they're few and far between.
I also like the 2T setting for corners, same as the TIG set

4T for me with the EWM. It allows you to keep the trigger pulled until you decide enough heat is in with the hot start, release for the rest of the weld then pull and hold until crater filled then release. Also when doing the main weld you can tap and it will drop to a lower current, when it is getting too cold you tap and back to main. I would imagine the lorch has the same features.
