Chilli jam and spinach in there too, it's bloody hot but a mango lassi sorts it out.

Born and brought up there, this is what it looked like in the late 1950's. Those two collieries, the Park and the Dare killed 126 men between them, without the numberless who were maimed or suffered from a host of industrial related illnesses. Of my grandfather, father and his six brothers, only one lived to retire.

I was born there too. My Uncle, Grandfather, and Great Grandfather worked in the Dare.

My box of HSS bits has a few odd shapes and today realised what one is for, O ring groove undercuts on bspp and similar.

I had a 0.6mm gap from cross drilling with a less than ideal drill, so went with silbralloy (CuP with silver) and easyflow flux. Blobbed too much rod where I shouldnt - it is hard and takes ages to file back.

Next job is assemble the tig cooler, need to make a case/frame and brackets to hold pump and tank. Turned another bspp, this was my quickest thread yet about 15 minutes and it measures good.

Mate lives very near there. For some reason I love the valleys - built with blood, sweat and tears!

There's a fertiliser factory near here, where the fatality rate from various cancers seems to be around 90%. A local I know was reminiscing about his time working there and listing all the blokes he worked with that popped their clogs early. Sounded a right dodgy place to work.

Blobbed too much rod where I shouldn't - it is hard and takes ages to file back.

I think I read somewhere that you can put Tippex on the bits you do not want the solder to run onto.

Another option is to cut off the amount/length of rod you need for the joint and lay it on top.

I am not sure sooting it up as you do for whitemetal bearings would work as the flame would burn it off.

Quick test with induction coil and the wp20. No leaks, not the highest flow rate with the torch but it'll be adequate.
