I'd just stick some tubes in. Can't fail to seal then.

These all had tubes so I kept it as is.

You won't regret getting one, once derestricted they go well. You would think being spilt rims those tyres would be easy, they are without doubt the hardest tyres I have ever removed from anything including cars/tractors.

My two were around that sort of age when we got ours, what I did was walk along with the lanyard and kept getting them to stop then go continually until I was confident. Sure I had to ball them out a couple of times on the first couple of occasions :laughing:

After that no dramas, youngest one was always more sensible eldest was flat out the whole time. Youngest did have a comedy moment when he went down the field and turned, the front outside tyre had gone down and fell off, got straight up ran after it and got back on :fighting:

Found a photo, it doesn't appear to have split rims?, I will have to look into tubing the one that keeps going down

You could try some of that tyre slime. You inject it though the valve then inflate the tyre to normal pressure. It's supposed to seal almost any puncture present and future.

A friend of mine had a little bright pink quad that his daughter rode round their paddock. It had a remote which could stop or start the engine from a couple of hundred metres if she got too brave or it ran away with her. The quad was stolen from their stable. The plastics on them are good enough but the metalwork and coating usually leaves a lot to be desired even on the better makes.

I've had the slime on my ebay watch list since I found out about the leak

I'll give it go.

If our quad tires wont seal, tubes get put in. I never used slime in a tire but I did put it in a rugby ball that wouldn't stay up. It worked

I've got a white and yellow one in bits tucked away in my mums shed
must dig them out as my little ones nearly 5 so a good age to see if she likes them or not

If not then you need get them ready for just before Xmas, they make stupid money then. I sold one for £400+ that wasn't anywhere near as good Faverruss's before he started polishing it

Lidl or Aldi sell it.
A mate carries a can of it with him when he rides his treader to work. I carry puncture repair outfit and a pump all the time.

My boys had one of these. Loved it. As its got a solid axle they even learnt to lean out on corners to lift the inner wheels preventing understeer!

Yep they do need to clear the shed and dig them out but as always they get bumped down the list of jobs lol

The designer's of the LT50 really have safety in mind. All the steering components have cotter pins so nothing can come loose.

Removed the restriction disk from the intake manifold

But it leaves a ridge which won't be good for performance so a machined a spacer to fill the gap then a bit of port matching done.

Nearly there now, well I supposed you could be forgiven for thinking it's finished. I'm going to make some foot plates to fill the gap between the mudguards.
