Just to add those cameras will work with the NVR you linked to. They should work out of the box with minimal setting up needed to get a picture up and working. It's sorting through the settings for what you want it to actually do that usually takes the most time!

Your fine to use Ca6 couplers with Cat5e

Yes @Welderpaul they are all the same plug, they are made for cat 6 data cable but cat 5 will be fine!

If you were closer I'd say pull them in and I'd come and do the plugs for you and Fluke test them, Yorkshire's a bit of a trek for me though.

When setting cameras up is there some sort of screen thing you can plug into the camera to set focus, position etc rather than running up and down a ladder 1000 times. Need to be cheap though

Set access up on your phone/ipad first, then just do it up the ladder once. That is assuming they have manual zoom/focus.

best thing to look at is when setting camera focus is point it at your car number plate at a set distance till you can read it clearly

Yes you can buy a plug in monitor for the cameras they are not the cheapest though for a good one! as @Barlidge says set the app up on your phone, it's a lot cheaper!
