Also because of the digital control on some of our tig inverters we can have Job store facilty and M.A.C.S (Modulated AC Arc), this is a special Hybrid arc which is Like traditional AC welding with a DC componant superimposed onto it. This makes the Arc incredibly stable at low amps, is great for welding thin section Aluminium and also welding joints with a high level of difference (Eg, 8mm to 1mm Plate).

I found at Kemppi MLS 2300 that hybrid arc is excellent for controling weld pool at aluminium, no matter how thick the piece is... In normal AC mode, the welders say they must "run" with TIG torch, but with that hybrid arc, the pool is much more controlable...
