I would be tempted to put large aluminium commercial baking tray under your mill then you could fit a tap in the bottom with a bit of pipe into a container to save you having to mess about moving the mill to clean it out.
I use them for spills a lot and can be picked up on fleebay for less than a ten and occasionally in charity shops for no money

Had a tidy up moved the mill slightly cut the shelf down that was behind limiting the full range of movement. Now to decide if I need to make a tray to sit under it.
