A bit of skip diving today, doing a bit of work behind a perspex supplier again and thought it rude not to have a dive in his skip.There again next week if anyone needs some, be quick though it looks like its about to get emptied.

my brother has skipped a load of stuff knowing full well our parents house wants doing up in some repairs


ive circular sawed long lengths of hardwood door frame to make gate posts and a gate put of decking to rebuild a boundary wall fence and gate that he removed

hardwood flooring has also gone

i cant touch the long beams for a wood stove as i dont know where i stand

I always thought anything in a skip was considered discarded and free to takers

They got a bit shouty when I grabbed these two..

There is a skip in the garden at a friends house by the river. On the last day of March the river was at 6.7 metres, the worst flooding in 40 years. After the water abated his car was written off and stuck on it's side in a hedge. The skip was full of water, he was away for a few days, had I known I could have dragged his car onto higher ground. The skip had a few hundred kilo of rubble in it, if it was empty I think it would have been a shipping hazard in the Loire estuary by the following Monday. In the skip were two Dace and one Roach, we fished them out but did not keep them

I wasn't in the truck today so I had to pass, if its still there Friday it will get wombled, pretty sure I spotted our Vark in there .

I just had a minor flutter that I might have volunteered to post you something and forgot.. I do that sometimes.

That's why I had to give up two small internet businesses.. A stroke robbed me of short term memory for five or six years , unless people owed me money or borrowed tools & I'd written it down in the daily log .

the ladder wont lock open so is unsafe to use as someone has replaced the lock bar with a threaded rod
