Get someone to 3D print new ones in ABS ?
Been lucky so far, but Im sure at some point I will need that sort of help. I think in the fullness of time this utter lash will be revisited...
I think the main problem with getting anything made will be getting useable drawings out of me though.
I just had a minor flutter that I might have volunteered to post you something and forgot.. I do that sometimes.

Stripped bevel gears. Not worth messing with.

Photometry ( sp ? or the name for it ?) stitches loads of pictures taken from different angles & matches up common parts & gives them a reference code the comuter programme turns the info a workable 3D drawing which is sliced so the printing machine can accurately reproduced what been sent in the photos. Google photographs to 3D printing for a better overview.Been lucky so far, but Im sure at some point I will need that sort of help. I think in the fullness of time this utter lash will be revisited...
I've tried one of the freebie programmes a few months ago at the start of lockdown but failed to get it to develop to the print information as I needed to bung a whole suite of programmes on the computer to do it ..(

I just had a minor flutter that I might have volunteered to post you something and forgot.. I do that sometimes.
It was a 200 mm high stack of dirty £50 pounds notes or perhaps a long thin lathe chuck key that is 1/3 of inch square . If the latter keep it forgot I managed to use my lathe and QCTP plus standard holder to use a 1 mm slitting disc on a mandrel in the chuck to cut the right sized square end on a length of half inch square key steel before turning the rest of the key to a sort of round bar & welding the bar holder boss on the other end .
I was waiting for a small can of high resistance air drying varnish to re varnish some of bared copper on coils of the field winding of my ex lathe motor .. don't need it any more ... as of 1500 hrs. yesterday as brought a new lathe motor instead ..
Im a bit limited on what I can get under the thing and if I make up a bracket to put a hitch on the back, it will be in prime shin biting territory. and make the steering even heavier. I'd love to find a pic of the original fitting but they are a bit thin on the ground..

your design is floored and will damage both the mower and may rip off your trailer
the first part is your locking pin mower which needs a slide on sleeve then pin it
its the second part that needs the turn and also the vertical movement a ball would be better but a straight bar with abearing would be enough whilst the trailer pin bar would be your turner
I know it's flawed, its a lash of whatever was knocking about. I thought the use of a grinder gearbox would make that obvious.
I've already said (in the bit you quoted) that it will be revisited. A ball would be much easier, but there is nowhere to put one that wont a. hit the engine. or b, hit my shin. Sorry but I cant make head nor tale of the rest of your comment. All Ive done here is make a test rig to see if Ive got the seat position about right and how it runs with a seat.No, I didn't do that, but you used the U word..

Found these in a skip on a job we are on, seems a bit of a shame to bin them. Any good as workshop lighting ? No sign of the @The_Yellow_Ardvark in there, must be losing his sniffing out senses.
