TIG welder repair. Help identifying

Received my earth lead and stinger today plus some Tig consumables.

I still don't have any argon but I do have some tiny (1.6mm?) arc rods.
I ran one just to see that the welder is putting out amps (bear in mind I have never run an MMA bead before):

Thanks for the kind comments guys. It was a bit of a gamble but there's not really a lot to go wrong inside these transformer based machines.

I've got to say that I'm a very happy bloke with the outcome.

Yesterday mate, tried some fillerless runs on some stainless (I know there's another word for that but I can be bothered to try to spell it).

Top two I was just playing with the high and low end to check the current control was working.

Unfortunately no pedal, but it's only three wires so I will keep my eyes open for one to modify.

I just tried one little run in Ali and it worked but blew though at the end.

hi matt i have the same multi tig 200 welder i sent the unit out for repairs to so called welder repair shop after inquiring 5 weeks later they told me the unit is not repairer ball i picked the unit back up and found they had disconnected the transformer i think I've found the initial problem one of the bc301 transistor had burned out would you be able to take a photo of the primary circuit connector and the circuit board connector and send it to me

were t1 is that junction connector,the rectifier yellow&red wires junction connector and the two connector on the circuit board if you can imagine the two connectors are disconnected sitting in a box and I'm trying to put back together i cant thank you enough for doing this

Ok, leave it with me. I'll try and get around to it tomorrow but pulling the Tig out is a job as it sits on a shelf under my welding bench without its casters. And I'm sure you are aware as to how heavy it is!

that would be fine as it would take about a week for the parts to come from uk to repair my circuit board once again i cant thank you enough
