When you look at the terms & conditions for returns you notice that the cost of returns are to be the buyers responsibility, around €100 from Ireland.

Did you not take this into consideration in the 2 months of watching the prices prior to buying?

I'd not touch TigMig with a barge pole to be honest. Even the name sounds like they don't give two flying rats about their product. Its literally the worst thought out name ever.
I've not heard one good thing about them..

OK then in the interests of balance let me change that

I bought a TigMig Plasma cutter probably two years ago - it's been faultless and it's had a lot of use recently and coped with everything I've thrown at it......

It was cheaper than alternatives and did exactly what it should. However I was under no illusion that if it hadn't been perfect I would have issues getting either it repair or replaced - that's what happens when you buy stuff that's cheap

I just bought Mrs BC a new laptop - her last one was 5 years old, Windows Vista and the recovery disk was toast so it's had it's day £229 for a Laptop with 8GB ram and a 1 TB hard drive running windows 10

If it lasts as long as the last one I'll be quite happy - it's disposable at that price

Just reading about tigmig investigation 223 has anyone a part number or description for pub on wish have 2 to fix great welder when going no back up from tigmig but they are cheap welders

there isnt much wrong with tigmig stuff. sit an Rtech tig on the bench sit a TigMig tig on the bench, now they are both cineese the diffrences are one is blue and one is red and the red one is a 1/3 of the price.

ive been takig punts on TigMig stuff for a while now and it's been getting some stick, couple of there plasmas i cant kill them, ive been useing a couple of there inverter stick sets as high current powersupplys for my elecrolosys barrel and diy arc funace not that should have killed them if they were going to die

tbh i think days of customer service have long gone anyway, there are so meany exclusions on everything wether they are legal or not, you ring up supplyer about anything other than ordering another one they dont want to know, they just transfer the call over to the company numpty till you get * off and give up.

then 3 months later rep will rock up asking why not bought anything off them, " well we get better support from chineese ebay sellers "

I've bought a TigMig welder 200 Amps A/C DC for Aluminium, steel & Magnesium. It's a professional and reliable machine. After 5 years I'm using it regularly on daily basis for my job and is still working as the first day I've used it. It's a perfect machine. Highly recommended. Really happy with it.
