I'm a little miffed, I ordered a couple of UNF taps on Sunday after finding that the 1/4" ones that I thought I had were in fact 12-28 UNF. Now I've a whole box load

That fully qualifies as 'essential travel'

It is. Very old and fitted with an ancient 3-phase plug (it's a single phase machine).

Might be the type of spot welder that has a separate timer module that the bit you've got plugs into. Think they require a couple of extra pins for the timed function or something and the easiest/most economical way to do it was to use 3 phase commando plugs.

Milwaukee M18 Router, managed to get it whilst the eBay sellers were competing with each other to who had the lowest price. Prices are already going up from the £262 low price of last week. I'll get it tried out this week.

Not today, but I was unaware I had it, it was in a box of my dad's stuff. I think I will put some sort of LED bulb in it and use it the new bar area. No idea what it is off, probably some ancient bit of plant with the yellow paint. Its a pity the lens/diffuser is missing, unless that is in yet another box..... I'm not going to restore it, just wipe the muck off and use it.

Well the novelty wore off and I found another expensive new hobby.


That's the parcel UPS couldn't be bothered to collect on Friday, despite which it still arrived on the expected date so I can't be too annoyed.

Sony a6300, Zoom H1 recorder, a small LED panel, and a smallrig cage (Makes you can look more indie ).
I've wanted a proper camera for years, my housemates have started a quarantine vlog so it was a nice excuse to get a kit with a bit of video gear. I might try to set it up for video meetings too, my laptop webcam is awful. Just need to figure out how to use it now. And buy a tripod. And some more lenses. And some...
