im not a use a wrench for a hammer type guy if it means just a pop to the tool box to get the right tool but as the one i used is twisted and near for the bin job ive got it handy just now and again you make the wrong choise

I understand the windings are burnt.

But as I have said the following parts will be donated to a MIS:
Both stones.
Both tool rests.
Both guards.

That means they have a Bench Grinder they can use with the correct safety attachments.
Plus a spare stone.

I'm a little miffed, I ordered a couple of UNF taps on Sunday after finding that the 1/4" ones that I thought I had were in fact 12-28 UNF. Now I've a whole box load

It is. Very old and fitted with an ancient 3-phase plug (it's a single phase machine).

In reverse order: I didn't have any rotary burrs, so I'm happy. I couldn't find the die grinder though.

The blue round thing is a soup pot

Unfortunately the soup seems to have set

Alright, alright - it's a Crocell pot.

@Seadog as crazy as it sounds I was thinking the other day about how someone would go about sorting through my stuff when I'm no longer around

We all collect such an array of tools, equipment & other stuff that it becomes an Aladdin's cave!

His workshop is fairly extensive. Plus his small collection of motorcycles; BSA Y13, Rudge Ulster, Golden Flash, B33 plus two others that I can't recall at the moment.

Apparently the neighbour's father's workshop makes this look small. He's been dead four years and they still haven't got around to sorting it out.

Me neither. My brother wouldn't have a clue what anything is. The problem is detaching yourself from the memories, accepting the realities, and not dying before you get the chance to sell
